This might be our New Look!

 Curvy Divas, I am excited to report that this may be our new permanent look!  I do like this theme's look and style for our blog.  It will take a bit for to get all the tabs working and customize it to what our needs are. I'm still working on the fonts and colors. Hopefully I can tweak it to what my vision is!  How exciting!

 While we continue "to build" and "construct", we ask for your patience as we continue our work in progress.  Please do feel free to roam around the site, sip your coffee, or drink of choice. Open a title are two, and continue to ride the clouds of our creative muses.

Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"?  When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have!  Do you know who coined the word and how it came about?  Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person!  I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! Global Fashion: For the Bride: Bridal Week in Barcelona

Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married.  However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer.  It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! I took a  virtual walk over to glamour.com and found some really beautiful photos of bridal gowns in an article written by Glamour contributor Kim Fusaro , in her article featuring Barcelona's annual fashionable event, Bridal Week.

Thrift Shopping Awesome

If you have done it before, isn't it like, really fun?  I know, the clothes are used, and some of them are really so, old, but if you love vintage curvy divas, even better !   And if you love a bargain, you've hit the mother lode! Plus, some people really give away some really nice stuff so what's to lose?!!!!!!   I love thrift shopping and will continue to do it even when I have hit the mother lode!lol!
