Our Mission:

Created by Donna Reid aka Foreverserenity in April 2017. Show Me Your Closet was created with The Love and The Passion for Fashion that "speaks" to our style senses. We do not just follow trends, we learn to adapt trends into our style aesthetics! Our goal is to share trends, ideas, information, and one day to curate a Capsule on trend with our curves in mind.

Reading magazines, online and off, surfing the web, sharing our views and opinions; sometimes give a review of things we like, upcoming events/events we attended; and also link articles and photographs from other websites, blogs, brands, or magazines (Magrags) of interest! We love to collaborate with like-minded individuals, brands or companies.

Love, Laugh, Learn, Life your way! when it comes to our fashion, we love Stylish, Wearable Fashion! We believe that a woman can be who or what she wants to be. Discovering style & trends to make it her own and just having fun being who she is! Our goal is to help you get organize and create the closet of your dreams. Me 'n My 'Fro: On Being Natural - How it began

I mentioned the first article I wrote about my hair that I would share with you my hair journey curvy divas. For the next couple of Wednesdays, that is what I will do on this blog. If you are black aka African American as we say here in the United States (technically, I'm Caribbean-American), you know the ins and outs of our hair journeys. The success, when you rock your hair and look fierce; the woes, when you just give up and put on a hat!lol! And even wear a hat, just because you wanna rock that new hat! I have always had what some called "a head full of hair", so much that the authenticity of my hair came into question quite a couple of times. My mom loved to style our hair (my sisters and me) and would always have her girls looking beautiful in ribbons and hair clips where ever we went! Fabulously Curvy has been nominated by a fellow Blogger whom we love to follow, our local royalty, Princess Kaija of the blog, The Life and Adventures of Princess Kaija . She was also nominated for her work and as graciously given me the nod which we gladly accept. We love the adventure of getting "out and about" and meeting new bloggers and writers and we gladly follow back. Thank you Kaija for thinking us worthy of the Liebster Awards . Forgive us for the late "acceptance speech". Life has been inundated with family-life, exams & presentations, since we're in the world of students again, and research for our new looks on the blog.

Found: The TShirt Dress

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!! While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size. Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!! I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey; it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...
