Happy Thanksgiving Week Break

Can you believe Thanksgiving will be here in a few days curvy divas? Me neither! I knew it was coming, I'm looking at dates on a daily basis, and then it jumped up and "slapped me in the face" that will be this Thursday - the big day.

For my international divas, you may be aware that every year, we in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving. It is usually the last thursday in November and this year it falls on November 27th. Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving too, however, there celebration happens much earlier than ours. Do you celebrate where you are too? Tell us about your tradition leave a comment below!

In the meantime, Fabulously Curvy will be taking a week-long break from posting any articles. Unless of course there is a fashion emergency of news or information - we will drop that turkey leg to report!!!!!

Have a fabulous time with your families and friends, and if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, do have a fabulous week just the same!!! Our article re-posts will continue a week later in December.

Me 'n My 'Fro: On Being Natural - How it began

I mentioned the first article I wrote about my hair that I would share with you my hair journey curvy divas. For the next couple of Wednesdays, that is what I will do on this blog. Found: The TShirt Dress

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!! While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size. Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!! I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey; it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...
