Connecting the Dots...& Jill Scott

I'm excited to begin a new feature on my blog. I love reading blogs from all over the world. There's a new feature I've wanted to begin since....Spring 2014, yes this year....and hope to get it off and running soon. I've written and saved a few articles, on the features I hope to do, and am just waiting on responses to a couple of emails that I sent out to those who I wanted to connect with.

Now if only those email replies could come in sooner rather than later....it's been a while...I've sent new requests to follow up and added others to my emailing. Fingers crossed!

In the meantime, let me not end this write up with out showing you something gorgeous curvy divas! I love reading magazines and seeing one of my favorite singer/actress on the cover of Essence magazine just rocking her new look, Jill Scott on the September issue of Essence!!! She looks amazeballs! Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"? When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have! Do you know who coined the word and how it came about? Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person! Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married. However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer. It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! Thrift Shopping Awesome

If you have done it before, isn't it like, really fun? I know, the clothes are used, and some of them are really so, old, but if you love vintage curvy divas, even better !
