Keep it Curvy and Love You!

We talk about it a lot curvy divas, our bodies! We look at ourselves in the mirror and sometimes we don't like what we see. It's OK not to like you all of the time. That should be your cue however, to do something about the part of you that you don't love! Whether you want to tone up, or down, eat better, do more of what you love, go outside your door and enjoy life more (not just through your computer, or getting the nerve to begin any new kind of journey you have always dreamed of! Life isn't only about what clothes you wear, or how the clothes you wear looks on you!

While all that is well and good, loving yourself is more important! So in taking a page from my personal blog where I try to motivate and inspire (most of the times anyway)!lol! Here's a reminder to you curvy divas, and especially to me, that we have to love ourselves more! Sometimes it seems our life isn't giving us what we want, go ahead and change your course, switch things around to make it work for you!

Me 'n My 'Fro: On Being Natural - How it began

I mentioned the first article I wrote about my hair that I would share with you my hair journey curvy divas. For the next couple of Wednesdays, that is what I will do on this blog. If you are black aka African American as we say here in the United States (technically, I'm Caribbean-American), you know the ins and outs of our hair journeys. Fabulously Curvy has been nominated by a fellow Blogger whom we love to follow, our local royalty, Princess Kaija of the blog, The Life and Adventures of Princess Kaija . She was also nominated for her work and as graciously given me the nod which we gladly accept. Found: The TShirt Dress

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!! While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size. Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!! I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey; it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...
