Curvy Looks: What I Wore In a Week

I like reviewing my Style-looks to see how my fashion has progressed, what clothing I intend to keep during my #Showmeyourcloset make over (more on this soon) and also just in case I have to re-think my style strategy when in work-mode.

There are good days when my looks are on pointe, and those moments when I wonder what the heck was I thinking with a look that I wore! That may have happened to you as well at times curvy divas?! You know, when the clothing you wore makes you go...WTF?! This was not how I envisioned this look. I can't wait to get home to take it off!lol! Been there, done that so many times! haha

Me 'n My 'Fro: On Being Natural - How it began

I mentioned the first article I wrote about my hair that I would share with you my hair journey curvy divas. For the next couple of Wednesdays, that is what I will do on this blog. If you are black aka African American as we say here in the United States (technically, I'm Caribbean-American), you know the ins and outs of our hair journeys. The success, when you rock your hair and look fierce; the woes, when you just give up and put on a hat!lol! And even wear a hat, just because you wanna rock that new hat! Found: The TShirt Dress

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!! While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size. Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!! I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey; it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...
