Found:The Sexiest Top Ever....How to wear?

I found this gorgeous top at one of my favorite places I shop when I'm on a budget, Rainbow.  They carry very trendy pieces for all sizes, which is why I love going there.  I call them my "Diamond in the rough" because they may look really cheap, but they will have some great styles, with good tailoring from time to time.

This beige/oatmeal colored top was one of those deals!  I fell in love with it right away.  I fitted it, and it's great on. But my dilemma is, how do I wear it?  With jeans, skirt, slacks?  Do I go with a tank underneath, or a jacket over....but a jacket would hide those gorgeous details!

Note the beaded Y-shaped back, the rouching at the waist, and the cowl neck on the front, and the drape-effect on the back!  It definitely will be a great look.  What I am unsure about is the "bareness", and as I'm working on my arms right now, (running 3-4 times a week and lifting weights 2 times a week) I guess it shouldn't be so bad!   Do you have those fears when you wear your style-look curvy divas?  I love my curvy body, but I want to wear my clothing, not having the clothing wear me!lol! What do you think? Great find?  Any ideas?

Me 'n My 'Fro: On Being Natural - How it began

I mentioned the first article I wrote   about my hair that I would share with you my hair journey curvy divas. For the next couple of Wednesdays, that is what I will do on this blog.  If you are black aka African American as we say here in the United States (technically, I'm Caribbean-American), you know the ins and outs of our hair journeys. The success, when you rock your hair and look fierce; the woes, when you just give up and put on a hat!lol! And even wear a hat, just because you wanna rock that new hat!   I have always had what some called "a head full of hair", so much that the authenticity of my hair came into question quite a couple of times.  My mom loved to style our hair (my sisters and me) and would always have her girls looking beautiful in ribbons and hair clips where ever we went!   There are two incidents I remember distinctly, as a child, and as an adult.  Once in Primary school (that is Elementary here in the USA), a teach...

Fabulously Curvy Nominated for The Liebster Award

Fabulously Curvy has been nominated by a fellow Blogger whom we love to follow, our local royalty, Princess Kaija of the blog, The Life and Adventures of Princess Kaija .  She was also nominated for her work and as graciously given me the nod which we gladly accept. We love the adventure of getting "out and about" and meeting new bloggers and writers and we gladly follow back.  Thank you Kaija for thinking us worthy of the Liebster Awards . Forgive us for the late "acceptance speech".  Life has been inundated with family-life, exams & presentations, since we're in the world of students again, and research for our new looks on the blog.

Found: The TShirt Dress

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!!  While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size.  Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!!  I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey;  it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...
